The Municipality of Kincardine is so excited to resume in-person events this year.  This weekend we will have the following temporary road closures to accommodate pedestrian friendly special events:   
Canada Day Parade ,  July 1 st at 11:00 am. 
The parade will gather at Quinn Plaza on North end of Queens Street and will head South on Queen Street and West down Harbour Street to the lakeside flagpole for the ceremony and flag raising....

Please be advised that Durham St from Saugeen St to Queen St will be closed Monday, June 27, 2022 for construction.  The road will be passable for emergency vehicles and local traffic only during the construction period.  The date of reopening is estimated for the end of August 2022.

Promenade on Queen will be continuing in downtown Kincardine this summer. This year, Promenade on Queen will be held on Sundays throughout July and August from 10:00 am-4:00 pmweather permitting. Queen Street will be a pedestrian friendly area from Durham Market Square North to Lambton Street and the streets will be closed at least 1-hour prior to and after the event. Information about the street closure, accessible parking and access is found on the Municipal website: ...

photo As part of the ongoing celebration of National Indigenous History Month, the Municipality of Kincardine would like to highlight  National Indigenous Peoples Day , which falls on June 21 each year. To acknowledge this day the Municipality will be flying The “Every Child Matters” flag at the Davidson Centre, which will be raised on June 21 at 9:30 am to demonstrate the commitment to reconciliation.
