The Municipality of Kincardine is actively recruiting family physicians to work a combination of clinic, hospitalist, and Emergency Room (ER) shifts. A significant number of residents do not have access to a regular family practitioner for primary care.  The South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine Emergency Room is also understaffed and at continual risk of daily or night closures.

Dr. Ian Arra, Medical Officer of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit, presented a plaque to the Municipality of Kincardine today to commemorate the success of the Davidson Centre’s COVID-19 Hockey Hub Mass Immunization Centre. From March 12 to August 16, 2021, the Davidson Centre administered more than 27,000 doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
