Yesterday,  Bruce Power  announced an increase in output of 250 megawatts (MW) – enough to power 250,000 more homes. With more innovations and upgrades, the plant aims to become even more efficient and has an ambitious goal of a 7,000 MW site peak by 2030. The Municipality of Kincardine is actively recruiting family physicians to work a combination of clinic, hospitalist, and Emergency Room (ER) shifts. A significant number of residents do not have access to a regular family practitioner for primary care.  The South Bruce Grey Health Centre – Kincardine Emergency Room is also understaffed and at continual risk of daily or night closures.
